দুই রাক‘আত, জামা‘আতে — সূর্য এক বর্শা পরিমাণ ওঠার পর থেকে মধ্যাকাশে পৌঁছানোর আগে। আযান নেই, ইকামত নেই, এবং নামাযের স্থানে আগে-পরে কোনো নফল নেই।
Two rak‘ahs, prayed in congregation after the sun has risen the height of a spear and before it reaches its zenith. No adhān, no iqāmah, and no voluntary prayer before or after it in the place of prayer.

Its ruling
হানাফি — যাদের উপর জুমু‘আ ফরয তাদের উপর ওয়াজিব।
Ḥ — wājib on those obliged to pray Jumu‘ah.
হাম্বলি — সমাজের উপর ফরযে কিফায়া।
Ḥb — farḍ kifāyah upon the community.
মালিকি, শাফি‘ঈ — তাগিদপূর্ণ সুন্নাহ।
M, S — a confirmed sunnah, strongly urged.

প্রথম রাক‘আতে আল-আ‘লা, দ্বিতীয়তে আল-গাশিয়াহ; অথবা ক্বাফ ও আল-ক্বামার। উচ্চস্বরে পড়া হয়।
