চারটি মাস পবিত্র — এগুলোতে যুদ্ধ নিষিদ্ধ এবং পাপ আরও গুরুতর।
Four are sacred — fighting is forbidden and sin is graver in them.

Never fast
দুই ঈদ এবং ১১–১৩ যুলহিজ্জাহ (আইয়ামুত তাশরীক) — রোযা নিষিদ্ধ। শুধু শুক্রবার, এবং রমযানের আগের সন্দেহের দিন রোযা রাখা অপছন্দনীয়।
The two ‘Eids, and 11–13 Dhul-Ḥijjah (ayyām at-tashrīq). Friday alone, and the day of doubt before Ramaḍān, are disliked.

Breaking the fast
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
যাহাবায্-যামাউ ওয়াব্তাল্লাতিল্-‘উরূক্বু ওয়া সাবাতাল্-আজরু ইন শা-আল্লাহ্
Dhahabaẓ-ẓama’u wabtallatil-‘urūqu wa thabatal-ajru in shā’allāh
পিপাসা দূর হলো, শিরা সিক্ত হলো, আর ইন শা-আল্লাহ প্রতিদান নিশ্চিত হলো।
Thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is certain, if Allah wills.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
আল্লাহুম্মা ইন্নাকা ‘আফুওউন তুহিব্বুল্-‘আফওয়া ফা‘ফু ‘আন্নী
Allāhumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuḥibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘annī
হে আল্লাহ, আপনি ক্ষমাশীল, ক্ষমা করতে ভালোবাসেন, তাই আমাকে ক্ষমা করুন।
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.

05aDhul-Ḥijjah & ‘Arafahযুলহিজ্জাহ ও আরাফাহ
The first ten
নেক আমলের জন্য এর চেয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ দিন নেই। রোযা রাখুন, দান করুন, তিলাওয়াত করুন, এবং ১ তারিখ থেকে ১৩ তারিখের আসর পর্যন্ত বেশি বেশি তাকবীর বলুন।
No days are greater for righteous deeds. Fast, give, recite, and multiply takbīr from the 1st to the ‘Aṣr of the 13th.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ
আল্লাহু আকবার, আল্লাহু আকবার, লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ্, ওয়াল্লাহু আকবার, আল্লাহু আকবার, ওয়া লিল্লাহিল্-হামদ
Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar, lā ilāha illallāh, wallāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar, wa lillāhil-ḥamd
আল্লাহ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ; আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো উপাস্য নেই; এবং সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর।
Allah is greatest; none is worthy of worship but Allah; and to Allah belongs all praise.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহু ওয়াহ্দাহু লা শারীকা লাহ্, লাহুল্-মুলকু ওয়া লাহুল্-হামদ, ওয়া হুওয়া ‘আলা কুল্লি শাইয়িন ক্বাদীর
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa Huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr
আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো উপাস্য নেই, তিনি একক…
None is worthy of worship but Allah alone…

Muḥarram
রমযানের পর সর্বোত্তম রোযা আল্লাহর মাস মুহাররমে। ৯ ও ১০ তারিখ — অথবা ১০ ও ১১ — রোযা রাখুন, শুধু ১০ তারিখ নয়।
The best fasting after Ramaḍān is in Allah’s month, Muḥarram. Fast the 9th and 10th — or the 10th and 11th — not the 10th alone.

Sha‘bān
রমযান ছাড়া অন্য যেকোনো মাসের চেয়ে তিনি ﷺ শা‘বানে বেশি রোযা রাখতেন। নতুন রমযানের আগে গত বছরের কাযা রোযা আদায় করুন।
He ﷺ fasted more of Sha‘bān than any month but Ramaḍān. Settle missed fasts of the previous year before the new Ramaḍān.

Shawwāl
ঈদুল ফিতরের পর ছয় দিন, একটানা বা আলাদা করে: “যে রমযানের রোযা রাখল, তারপর শাওয়ালের ছয়টি, সে যেন সারা বছর রোযা রাখল।” আগে রমযানের কাযা আদায় করুন।
Six days, consecutive or spread, after ‘Eid al-Fiṭr: “whoever fasts Ramaḍān then six of Shawwāl, it is as though he fasted a whole year.” Make up missed Ramaḍān days first.

Rajab
একটি পবিত্র মাস — তবে এতে নির্দিষ্ট কোনো রোযা, নামায বা উমরাহ প্রমাণিত নয়। রজবের প্রচলিত আমলগুলো দুর্বল বর্ণনার উপর নির্ভরশীল।
A sacred month — but no specific fast, prayer or ‘umrah is established in it. Popular Rajab practices rest on weak reports.
