02Before the salām
In the final sitting, after at-Taḥiyyāt and the ṣalawāt — inside the prayer, not after it.
The four refuges
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min ‘adhābi jahannam, wa min ‘adhābil-qabr, wa min fitnatil-maḥyā wal-mamāt, wa min sharri fitnatil-Masīḥid-Dajjāl
Refuge from the punishment of Hell, the punishment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the evil of the trial of the False Messiah.

Du‘ā of Abū Bakr
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Allāhumma innī ẓalamtu nafsī ẓulman kathīran, wa lā yaghfirudh-dhunūba illā Anta, faghfir lī maghfiratan min ‘indika warḥamnī, innaka Antal-Ghafūrur-Raḥīm
O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgives sins but You. So forgive me with forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. You are the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Allāhumma Antas-Salām, wa minkas-salām, tabārakta yā Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām
You are Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, Possessor of Majesty and Honour.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ
Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa Huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr. Allāhumma lā māni‘a limā a‘ṭayt, wa lā mu‘ṭiya limā mana‘t, wa lā yanfa‘u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd
None is worthy of worship but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion and the praise, and He is able to do all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, none can give what You withhold, and no fortune avails its holder against You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُرَدَّ إِلَىٰ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika minal-bukhl, wa a‘ūdhu bika minal-jubn, wa a‘ūdhu bika an uradda ilā ardhalil-‘umur, wa a‘ūdhu bika min fitnatid-dunyā, wa a‘ūdhu bika min ‘adhābil-qabr
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from miserliness; from cowardice; from being returned to the most feeble old age; from the trial of this world; and from the punishment of the grave.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَىٰ ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allāhumma a‘innī ‘alā dhikrika wa shukrika wa ḥusni ‘ibādatik
Help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You well.

7 · Tasbīḥ
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ · الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ · اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

05Āyat al-Kursī

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwal-ḥayyul-qayyūmu lā ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawmun lahu mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍi man dhal-ladhī yashfa‘u ‘indahu illā bi-idhnihi ya‘lamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum wa lā yuḥīṭūna bishay’in min ‘ilmihi illā bimā shā’a wasi‘a kursiyyuhus-samāwāti wal-arḍa wa lā ya’ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā wa huwal-‘aliyyul-‘aẓīm
